Just started settling here!:yahoo: Quedgely and Bristol look awesome.

So glad some people who missed out last time are getting snow. Hopefully more wake up to a snowy surprise :cold:

Now 0.9 in Stroud

Yep, finally eh bell! That thick drizzle now heavy snow and readily settleing :0

The snow the other day didn't lay as readily as this at our altitude so could be in for a nice covering if it keeps up :)

Well, well well. A contrast to the last snow event: Four hours continuous falling snow was required to enable settling on top of wet ground.

Even though the ground is completely water-saturated, the snow (quite wet snow though) is settling! Radar says sleet. As I'd not held up much hope, am completely surprised by the conditions just now. Snowing moderately at the moment with a Northerly component to the wind/breeze. :D

Not as impressive as north of Bristol but I'm happy, been waiting years for my outside Christmas trees to have a coating of snow, this is the closest so far to it happening, hopefully they'll be weighed down with it by morning.

Shrubs in the garden are bending under the sheer weight of snow! Street lights have now gone off. Still no sign of gritting......I imagine the council have been caught unawares by this. It was certainly a big surprise!

Well done folks who are in the sweet spot. Amazing that Cheltenham gets two falls in two weeks couldn't get a slush layering when I lived there for 8 years! Ha! Nothing here in this part of Devon yet.
