Suddenly got quite windy and sleet now instead of rain.

Yep, thunder. I heard one clap and it was very heavy sleet/snow. Nothing has settled. It was too wet

You in Upton? I'm about 2 miles from there and there's been no 'snow' here. It was sleet or very wet snow at best. Must be hugely marginal

Still falling as sleet here. Since it started the temperatures dropped from 3.1°C to 2.3°C in about 15 minutes.

Inbetween Upton and Lytchett Minster. 

Funny part of the world, the bay plays I Big part in the marginality I’d imagine.

I can confirm the Isle of Wight snow shield has been activated! Heavy rain/sleet as we speak! Winds got up. Temp is dropping though

Well I've seen something wintery even if it wasn't snow. More interesting was the temperature drop once the shower came over,

Temp here has dropped 5c in 1/2 an hour and dewpoint is at 0c...oooooh exciting!

Evening, if it's snowed here I haven't seen it but having been outside just now I can confidently report there's sod all here, not even rain. It's cold, breezy and clear, looking at the radar I think that's how it will stay.

Its not that high for anyone to be fair Im not sure where the 2 - 6cm prediction came from from the beeb it is way off.
