Light patchy rain falling here, just on northern edge of Bristol channel showers.

Going to be a long day.:fool:

Yep. Not cold enough here yet. Damp, sky looks threatening at times. Apps are just saying rain to me. I’m not expecting anything whatsoever ?

Didn't see that on the radar. Just shows how useless ppn radar are in marginal situations like this. Hey snow south of the M4 who'd of thought it!

Forcast temps are down on yesterday's forecast. We'll have to see how those showers align later.

When I went on the school run this morning, the temperature difference from my house to the school which is on top of a modest hill for these areas was 1.5c. 275ft elevation difference. So could be wet at home tonight and white on the hill.... ?‍♂️ Granted it was car thermometer, but still

Haha! Yes I know in 2010 I was so obsessed with when the next snow was going to fall I had to tell myself off to go outside and play in it ?

Aww Karlos. I do feel for you. But we can be in this together, because between your snowshield and Wells’ microclimate, it ain’t gonna happen ?

Advice please lovely people. My digital alarm clock decided to turn up it’s toes last night. This is good news though as I can now get an alarm clock with weather functions too.. have an amazon voucher burning a hole in my pocket.. which one do you recommend? Have any of you got one?

Don't forget, the cold upper air still hasn't fully materialised yet. Most of the region is under uppers of -2 to -4. They will fall through the day, and by evening we'll be under -6 to -7. So, over higher ground it will be exclusively snow tonight, but wintry at lower levels too.
