Getting through pages quicker then the MAD thread on here today. Something must be brewing. :yahoo:

Ironic that a new page started when I clicked to post this.

I'm just in the warning area. Trying not to get excited! it's a good thing kids are at school because they would be going nuts now.

I've got a feeling Friday could have potential for snow in our region as well. GFS high res has been hinting at this for a few days now and it's not going away.

Afternoon, here at work (near Bristol) it's been sunny all morning but beginning to cloud over from Bristol channel direction, blinking cold wind. Fingers crossed for a bit of the white stuff at home later. Forecast still says snow for Friday.

Just had very squally Shower here, think it was sleet as could see it sheeting being blown in the wind across the fields. I live in hope.

I'm wondering if my Temp sensor being in the jasmine bush is affecting the Humidity & DP readings? I always seem to have high DP readings.... any experience of this campers?

Does your sensor get covered in rain/dampness?

probably... It is very accurate for Temps as it's never in direct sunlight. I guess being surrounded by Jasmine gives a forest effect.

Yeah. Ideally, you want it away from vegetation, but situated above grass. As long as the humidity is high, you'll not get the representative dew points.

You just always know when snow is around, the pages here zoom by :)

Looked good in all the forecasts with light snow and sleet late evening here, but its been downgraded to one light snow and sleet shower now.
Temp did drop mid morning to 5c, but has now climbed back up with some lovely sunshine here to 6.6c

Liking that the wind speeds on the forecast have dropped a bit, they were showing 48-58mph through the night wed/thur but dropped down to 40-45mph now.
