I’m afraid I’ve seen one to many of these to have reasonable reason for my scepticism... but good luck lol

ive got my eyes on the shower activity by Exeter headed east!

Likwise here, but everytime I find some hope. I'm building a ladder to around 400ft and to see if that helps :D

Yeah, on target for you!

Best to keep an eye on the high res models.

Huge shift from Arome model now including the Central Southern England tomorrow morning.

ARPEGE follows the same pattern

If that comes off I'm looking at a good chance of a snow days tomorrow :)

No snow all day here until 5 minutes ago.

In a heavier burst, might have been some wet flakes in the mix here but that's as close as I've got. Seems the few 10s of metres asl difference between Downton and here was critical; snow is falling west of here as well, where there is also a little more height.

Not sure how much longer into the night this feed of showers from WNW is going to continue; most models had fizzled it out by now.

Chichester! you will probably be ok, sorry didn’t see your location as on iPhone. The annoying thing is I work in Chichester, but tomorrow my kids nativity is on so I’m stuck in Dorset ?‍♂️

I really wish NW added locations on mobile devices!

Ah, well we all know that models are still not great with fine local detail, so could all change for the better!

I've found I can see posters' locations if I turn my tablet to landscape mode.

Not a flake for me all day. Watching the snowman. 1.5c, dp 0.0c, wb 1.0c.

Constant very light snow now. Hoping for at least an even covering. Could do with some more intensity.

It's hammering down now and feeling cold, but not cold enough to snow . But to be honest that isn't bad  . If it freezes overnight then that could cause problems.

Finally stopped raining now, wish I had a station and had measured how many mm we've had today, would be a fairly high number! It's not even forecast to get below freezing tonight now, but could still be issues with ice on roads!

It looks carnage out there further north of me, and not so far away. Looks like it could a stay at home day for some tomorrow. Many schools closed.

worth noting, the new system in Biscay is throwing up ppn considerably further north than model output I've seen and is already showing up on radar in the SW approaches....one to possibly monitor for tomorrow morning
