BBC forecasting -8C tomorrow night here :cold-emoji:

Snow fields are the reason. Difficult to get much below -5C without snow but as soon as you get a good reflective layer then down it goes

Was nice to see snow falling, had drizzle her now for a while, can see flakes whenever it gets a little heavier though.

Lot's of time yet. The back edge just leaving Ireland is turning to sleet & snow as the colder air begins to wrap around. It'll carry on doing this for the rest of the day.

Limit is 7MB. Does the iPhone not have a built in image editor so you can crop it slightly?

A light, wet snow shower here. Not settling due to 6 inches of standing water from earlier torrential and prolonged rain. A slight exaggeration, but there is an awful lot of surface water lying around. Never mind, hope springs eternal and all that.

Hope everyone with decent snow is having a wonderful time! ☺

Meanwhile just the other side of Yate in Old Sodbury we have  a white out. I have tried to post a photo but it exceeded max file size.

You can either download an app for this or transfer them onto your computer to crop or drop the resolution..

I'm norm that far away from you Catacol and the BBC weather app has said temp dropping by 3pm and rain turning to snow.

So , that's a change from yesterday as it showed heavy rain .

Thenwind has dropped completely now and steady rain falling.

Pressure 976 And rising steadily .

I can only hope it's heading this way. It's not much more than a few soggy flakes blowing about in the wind here! But you do have elevation in your favour.....I suppose that's got something to do with it. ? Enjoy it though! ☺

Quite a well-defined boundary from what I'm reading. The Met Office updated second Yellow Snow :D warning area was spot on.
