The amber warning should definitely be further south. Swindon for example is snow all day!!!!

Weather app says sleet is falling here, looks like rain to me! Well done to those who've  seem some snow, hope I do later, even if it' just some flakes mixed in with the rain.

Heavy snow here in Purton (two miles north of M4). Must be about 4-5cms on decking! Weather station recorded 3mm of rain up to 3 o’clock then stopped. Must have been when it turned to snow?

currently 0c with -1.5c dp

Just roofs going white slowly from heavy sleet

just a matter of time I think before other bits turn white grass roads etc needs to cool down a bit more still heavy sleet but slush settling with bits of snow

I am looking forward to 10o'clock as that is when the heavy snow hits here, according to the MetO forecast. At least it has stopped raining!

Snowing here in NE Wiltshire. Unexpected surprise on waking up! Looks like couple of cm has settled.

Just read on an equestrian forum that BE are still deciding to run an event in Leicestershire.. very irresponsible considering people Travel some distances in their horse boxes to get there. Most are posting though that whilst they will loose those entry fees ( which aren’t small)  that they aren’t taking the risk ! The area is under an amber warning for goodness sake. The venue just said all our surfaces are ok so we are running it. Hmm. Do these people know what an amber warning means?

Moderate steady snow here now - starting to settle on the grass but the pavements/roads is still soooooo saturated that cannot see it settling there.....

Ooooops - sorry, wrong thread
