This is going to be much worse further south than forecast, amber warning should be 50-100 miles further south I reckon

How much further south do you think it will get. Could parts of Somerset and Devon turn to snow?

Don't think so sorry, the amber warning was for around 50 miles north of the M4 however it's dumpibg on the M4 in Wilts

Heavy snow in Didcot, about 1cm and rising fast.it started at heavy rain

Apparently we had the same here in Swindon earlier. Got that muffled quietness now with snow settling fast.

Depressing here on the iow :wallbash:heavy rain n wind :cray: bet all those people getting snow don’t even appreciate it! Lol

Just 1 day of laying snow would make me happy - just think it’s impossible down here everything has to be just right and it never is!

Rain band has cleared here. Radar is incredible so much snow falling up country.  Very windy here.

The rain is hitting the front/East of the house instead of the usual back/West, so at least there is a small amount of novelty there!

Snow line is a wee bit further south than they thought. Looks like Cheltenham is getting a good dumping. Lived there for 8 years and we never had anything like this.

Radar looks very impressive, I’m very happy for anyone under that but also very jealous.
