18z Hirlam very slightly further south again, now brings areas around the M4 into play like Bristol & Bath;

And it has east kent in it again too. Don't think there'll be snow here, well may falling at time perhaps, but not landing.

Winds will soon veer westerly and temperatures will begin to rise across the Southwest, i reckon it will start with sleet before quickly turning to rain. Coastal areas rain throughout , Turning very windy too

I think some places in Mid Wales & The Midlands still in the firing line for some significant accumulations in the next 24 hours

Temp on iow gone from 2.2 to 1.5 over the last hour n we forecast for rain from midnight so why won’t that fall as snow???? :pardon:

What's more important is what the temperature is when the precipitating is falling :D, might have gone up by then, plus you have the wbfl and dew points to consider as well as upper temps.

We just gotta remember that it's forecast to start as rain tomorrow morning. No doom & gloom "It's raining" posts until the afternoon and then I'll jump on the moan wagon with you.

I have light rain, but overnight I don’t expect anything different. My interest is tomorrow and into Monday.

well, bugger me with a fishfork, it could start for me as snow and stay as snow......could it be the mother load?.....If so, I just can't wait to share my good fortune with my colleagues in the midlands and northern england regional threads tomorrow....I'm sure they'll be thrilled :bomb:

It is in the middle of the sea though! And I would be surprised if it was 0c in Portland right now tbh
