Think you guys have nicked this from our back pockets... gutting for us in the more northern parts of the midlands. Fair play guys, enjoy it.

To be honest mate, it's wasted on most of us down here. Can we trade some of our precipitation for some of your cold?

Sounds good to me. Wouldn't mind being anywhere between Worcester to swindon for tomorrow.

Problem with the front producing snow as it backtracks south and east is it will be decaying so any snow will be light and patchy or just end us as drizzle over us?

Also heavy snow can settle on drenched ground but not easy with patchy light left over snizzle in early hours?

Maybe we should just forget about snowmagedon midland sunday and focus on 10 days time... :wallbash:

It's a shame that the large pressure drop occurs halfway through my stations midnight to midnight reset. It would have been close to 35mb in 24 hours, but it looks to be around 1001mb by midnight and perhaps 977mb by midday. 24mb in 12 hours is pretty good going though! Possible wind speed/gust record may go if I am lucky, and then the windchill record on Monday morning. That should keep me entertained while other parts of the country are getting smothered in that horrible white stuff. :D

What the 'eck is going on have the Midlanders decided to leave their homes?

Anyway I can gladly report it's raining here.. Temperature is beginning to climb, and the wind is in from the SW.

So 10 days ahead places nicely in,iine with Fergie & others which are suggesting the milder air will take over. What dem guys in the MAD thread sniffin now I wonder?
