-0.8C in Wolverhampton at the moment, cloud is breaking up here now, temp has dropped 0.3C in the last 15/20 mins, so it's just patchy cloud.

A little high for my liking hopefully we get some clearer skies before front arrives.

I’m sure this is nothing to worry about but temps seem far higher than forecast, 1.6c in Solihull currently, supposed to be -1 at 9pm according to original forecast earlier??

We have a little cloud cover ATM was colder earlier when skies where clear.

0.5'c here was sub zero an hour ago, dew points are -2.5'c so that's fine *shrugs*

Someone was asking about Bish earlier....

He says to say Hi to everyone, and he will be lurking (his words ?), but not posting as he’s in the middle of a difficult family time at the moment.

So, Bish, will be thinking of you tomorrow when the snow starts! ?

Hard to tell if it is further North or its just moving in a bit quicker than expected. The thing to watch out for is the North Irish border at 3.am. GFS expecting the most northerly extent is the North Irish border before it starts moving south. If it reaches the border we should be fine.

Yh unfortunately it looks bang on the Met predictions. North and central Mids will get thumped hope the wind direction brings it bk south a bit.

Hope so, it’s warmer now than it was at 3pm! Dew points still sub zero though.

Gusty,,

I had noticed the same effect here as cloud has floated across this evening.

I was at -0.9C at 17:30, but it has moved up to 0.9C now at 21;15.

Dew point still fine at -2.3C though.

Hope the clearance from Wolv comes   this way.

No way is it gonna be that much further north any adjustment at this stage would likely be a max of 50 miles.

How much snow is in shrewsbury now?

They maybe dreaming the unthinkable again tomorrow.

Still lots on the ground everywhere. If we get what we had Friday again (or more potentially) people will be stuck for sure. Already a layer of thick ice on most ungritted surfaces.

However in good news I reclaimed my children’s sledges from parents today. WE ARE READY

Agreed probably just coming in faster than expected, does not mean northern extent will be further north. Anyway when I compare it to EURO4, i'd say it was closer to 50m than 100m...
