Might be a daft question, but...

When I come onto the forums, I can click on the thread title and go to Page 1 of 73, or I can click on the last [pst made and come straight to p.73.... but am I missing something to click on to take me to where I left off half an hour ago?

Brilliant. We've been waiting for a day like this for over 4 years. Keep it coming I say.:santa-emoji:

Sure has a day for the Midlands to remember. Lovely building snowmen and watching kids play in proper snow. :snowman-emoji:

A quite spectacular weather event this weekend throughout these parts.  Its surely one to remember.  Up to 23cms in Halesowen and Coseley/Dudley.  I've been around Halesowen this afternoon and many of the roads, main ones included are simply no go.  The snow has been slightly moved by those able to use their 4x4s to get around but I saw many cars which did not have this feature struggling in the left over compacted snow.  Most roads round here tell the same story, don't bother.  Rush hour tomorrow will be carnage.  I believe most schools are due to be closed which hopefully will take some of the pressure off the transport network.  Later in the afternoon i ventured up Clent, where as you would expect all roads are treacherous, with up to a foot of snow in drifts.  Really a quite remarkable event.

I normally hate shifts that start at 4am but quite pleased I have one tomorrow. I should be able to get there with no one else around.

Anyone else had quite a bit of melt ?

Can hear the usual dripping, snow fallen off plants and slid off cars etc.

Not convinced we’ll get anything more than a bit of light stuff myself, radar looks pretty weak now, still fab day either way.

No melting here and still steady light snowfall. MetOffice has now updated to 90% chance of heavy snow at 8pm, 80% chance of heavy snow at 9pm :D This just keeps on giving! Light snow then right through until 5am, albeit dropping to 50% chance after 1am.

Seems silly to say it as it's just one day... but this will live long in the memory for just the constant snowfall. Hasn't stopped since 4am.

i'm wondering whether the storm to the south will help to reintensify the precipitation. We just don't want it too far north , or it'll introduce warmer upper, thus ending our fun.

It's already further north than expected
