3 to 4cm here judging from a first glance from the window. It looks as though the main shower action will be to the west of here today though.

Morning everyone! (Feeling like I’m arriving at the office, lol)

Woke up to it chucking down wet snow, by the time I was downstairs it had stoped, and by the time I’d caught up on all the posts on here it has started again!

think it’s going to be a roller coaster kind of a day! ?

Looks like the streamer sweet spot will be Shropshire. Stoke avoiding most of it sadly. Plenty of snow here in Quinton.

Yep, you're certainly in a great location for the rest of the day, shouldn't have a problem breaching the 10cm mark.

Roads are stuffed round Stourbridge, Clent, south west of Birmingham. Coming down heavy.

Stop start light snow currently and temps dropping. Can see a heavier band of precip inbound on radar - Way west of me but think might get under the edge...cast offs from Brum area.  Hopefully a few more surprises today - enjoy!:D

A light covering here in Tipton, must be expecting a tad more due to the amount of local schools that have closed for the day ?

From what I can see, a lovely covering of about an inch here in Harborne.

Sunday/Monday is looking good for around here. The situation reminds me of 8-9 Feb 2007. That was an amazing event in an otherwise horrid winter. Anybody remember the event?

1.5-2cm now, all surfaces covered. Definitely will be a day of lying snow, only the second in Dec since 2010. Just had a pretty heavy shower of large flakes mixed with small grainy stuff, and still flakes floating down.

And I've just heard from the postman that there is virtually nothing in town!
