only a few snow showers this evening nothing noteworthy to be honest just left everything wet in stead of white

That was a good shower. Covered everything. Shame showers are so few and far between here. A few more like that and we'd have a good few cm.

A decent snow shower at last. Slight covering.

A few flakes in the wind in Bucknall, but cars coming down from Werrington all have a covering on the roof.

Just came across this, looks good for the North of the region, and like it says could move further north or south, fingers crossed

Yep same here, these could come and go anywhere, anytime by the looks of it.

Yeah was going to say we had yet another one shortly ago but was coming down quite heavy again. Still nothing more than a thin slightly slushy covering though as its still wet. Nice to see some white out there nonetheless.

Another snow shower, quite big flakes blowing nearly horizontal in the wind.

Nowadays in the late 2010s, overnight dustings from brief snow showers are appearing as a bonus that comes free with the main snow events. In the mid 2010s they actually *were* the main snow events....

I did see that one too but didn't last as long and yeah I agree any white is a bonus to us from what we have had this winter :D

Not sure what happened overnight, but around 2am it was frozen solid with a dusting of snow and at 4.30am when I woke it had melted and was damp and the temp was 2C. Wasn't expecting that for sure! Bit of a dud otherwise.

Haven't been outside yet but there looks to be about 3 cm of lying snow here after earlier showers.
