Nearly all snowflakes in it at moments as well.

Yep  another few hours  and id expect anything that falls to be snow.   its encouraging that the showers are getting quite far inland.

Its Bloody Shrewsbury again.  strange and wonderful place   maybe a Altitude thing   expect it to turn in a while.   Mind  you not sticking here  died a death again now.

No moaning after what happened last month, wasn't expecting any today really, but I am at 95m asl so a bit higher than the town centre. Probably an evap cooling thing with us missing the heavier bits.

Well you lot were lucky, had nothing but a sleety rain shower here about an hour or ago, still dosen't look much in the pipeline, but i'm beginning to think that a covering of snow will out of the question, but you never know things may change. Anyway it's dry but cloudy at the moment & temp is at 2.5C

Looks like those idiots have backtracked on any snowfall here tonight, so i think this my last post today.

Been raining quite heavily in Derby for last hour or so. As a relative newcomer to this city I've come to realise that it isn't the most blessed for snow.

Obviously the well dodgy netweather forecast is still telling me it is snowing heavily :-). Something it has been very stubborn about over the last 24 hours.

Automated forecasts are useless in showery and marginal conditions.

As useless as SM's fantasy easterlies, mild rules he knows it

Wind picking up now, all we need now is snow showers all night and drifting to see tomorrow morning and this will be a success, got a good dusting now,a good covering will do.

Great spell for the north of the country westerlies a good few inches up there.

Funny how further north the showers are blasting across Lancashire, the Pennines and Yorkshire to the east coast, yet further south they can't just make it across Wales.

Hmm. Raining and lightly snowing at the same time here - wasn’t expecting that...
