MO warnings say above 100 - 200 m and charts show snow getting down to low levels Tuesday evening to Wednesday morning. At 146 m I am feeling hopeful!

Netweather forecast for here going for 35mm tonight from showers, some torrential snow....

Looking good Will, Fingers crossed.

Meto Peak District for tomorrow. Temps dropped 3.3c now here -1.7c wind chill. High avalanche risk on the highest hills also.

Cold and windy with fleeting sunny spells and frequent snow showers. Gales are likely across high ground, often giving blizzard conditions and severe wind chill. Showers will be heavy at times with a risk of hail and thunder, particularly in the afternoon and evening.

High avalanche risk from supposedly 4" snow on the hills.

met office must have done a typo. Maybe if 14" fell that would uphold the warning:cc_confused:

My lord, Very interesting.. While also considering the impacts on the public. Seems to be all coming at once this week, hail thunder snow rain, And severe gales.

This Meto Peak District foreast is for 300m and above, While the avalanche risk is for the highest tops at 600m and above. I rely on this personally as will Will.. Due to our location.

ECM also takes it further south. Midlands in the firing line for some of the strongest winds.
