It's not powdery here.

The snow is all rock solid and crunchy.

I can't even open the wheely bin as it's frozen shut.

-3°C now.

That is a shame, the air was colder up north though I guess.

Anyway, I had a -8C when I left north of Stoke this morning (quite close to rural fields), and the temp was bouncing around in the car down the M6, in freezing fog it was -7C and then it would rise to -3C.

Sorry guys it is too early for me...   !!!

My min is -7.8C.        I had read the DP which is -10.2C.

I thought it was a bit low.

Birmingham Airport is showing -6.0C, and a DP of -6.0C with relative humidity of 100% -so fog could be an issue there today.

Yes shawbury was the cold spot at -12c not surprising with all the very deep snowcover.

Huge difference here now at -1c currently, but with a min of another solid -4.3c

If you're disappointed with your cold temperatures it could be worse you could be here in Wirral where it is currently 0.4C after a minimum of 0.2C ?

Snowy..

Shobden (just by Hereford) has dropped further to -13.0C in the last couple of hours.

Pershore is still -11C, and Hereford is -10 currently

Certainly the coldest part of the UK.:cold::cold::cold:

Penetrating frost last night. Car thermometer dropped to -12 this morning just after dawn... by no means accurate but not far off as nearby Shawbury recorded -12.4

Light fog/mist over deep snow fields with sun trying to break through

Not been further then local shops so no idea what roads are like.  Still look frozen to me.

Van is defrosted and about to head out to work, I don't hold out much hope as still -5.9 here so I think maybe 5mins of work before my whole water system freezes up.
