Not sure how much exactly but has to be approaching a foot in untouched parts.

Best snow event in some time, didn't disappoint.

Gone cloudy here it was -3.8c and clear 3pm now -1.2c

can see cloud here to my extreme west, showers moving down west Wales, rain I assume? also all day could see frontal cloud to the SE, never expected the ppn anywhere near here, as it would have been snow

Both of of my Kids are off school again tomorrow.....A SNOW PLOUGH

The conditions of the school site, despite having had a snow plough on site this afternoon and significant grittingcontinues to pose a major health and safety risk and the decision has, therefore, been made for the school to remain closed tomorrow.  The enormity of the amount of snow and the size of our site are causing problems. The current condition of the pathways around the school are unsafe. The weather forecast for this evening and much of tomorrow is for sub-zero temperatures which will make road conditions hazardous. We will have further snow clearance taking place throughout the day on Tuesday and if the weather on Tuesday evening brings warmer conditions we will expect to be open on Wednesday.

Yes great snow day tomorrow, but big thaw I feel on Tuesday night, only snow left Wed will be snowmen and drifts/shovelled snow

been great spell though, from Wednesday time to look at models for next cold shot, while mild, lets hope it's as dry as possible

Schools closed in Shrewsbury tomorrow as well gives you an idea of the problems this snow has caused. Suspect many other places in the region will be the same

GFS 12Z is showing potential this forthcoming weekend

have been briefly looking at models, see GFS 12Z is maybe upgrading things,

I think on average GFS modeled the slider better than EC, EC was often too progressive giving us wind and rain

Really dropping now as the sun goes down  -1.6c  I wonder were in the region will be the coldest?

Did Pershore have a lot of snow? If so, that might be a good bet. I think it got to -19 °C in Dec 2010! Not expecting that tonight, but I'd imagine minus double figures would be on the cards for a number of places.

If only we can get through mildish Wednesday with snow cover then a small top up at weekend should patch things up

It's that cold outside that it actually felt warm walking into my 9C hallway
