i'm wondering whether the storm to the south will help to reintensify the precipitation. We just don't want it too far north , or it'll introduce warmer upper, thus ending our fun.

It's already further north than expected

I think your right. It seems as the storm heads north and our current front heads south it seems the euro4 at least thinks it will add intensity. There is also a slight chance the storm tomorrow will head even further north and the Midlands could get hit again. Only very slight chance I think tho.

MetO Upgraded me to 4 hours heavy snow too. Not sure where it's supposed to come from!

Still going here in Dudley. Slightly heavier than that fine snow we've had for a couple of hours.

Might be a daft question, but...

When I come onto the forums, I can click on the thread title and go to Page 1 of 73, or I can click on the last [pst made and come straight to p.73.... but am I missing something to click on to take me to where I left off half an hour ago?

I read from an iPad, and just leave the page open, but if I leave and come back the forum offers me an option to go to first unread post?

maybe it’s to do with your cookie settings?

MetO has now changed back to light snow throughout the night, with heavy snow in the early morning.

Mine has done the same for east Midlands.

I'm a mildy and I have enjoyed this weekend but it's when it goes on for weeks that I hate, like it did December 2010. Mainly because my house doesn't have central heating. I don't mind waking to a 6 or 7C bedroom for a few days but any longer and it becomes horrible fast.
