Around 10 hours of continuous snow here. It nearly stopped an hour or two ago, but it's coming down steadily again now. Will give it a bit longer before taking the ruler outside again! :D

Wow. I live in Springhill lane just above the Greyhound pub. We have had a good pasting.

Nice one bet the lanes up there are a nightmare, I’m just up from the Springhill pub ?

Had an email....All Solihull schools decided to give parents time to make alternate arrangements rather than dropping closure last minute, announcement will be made at 3:30 today.

I can see all being closed myself.

The kids might be able to get to there school the problem is the teachers getting to the schools.

It's wonderful isn't it, In Ironbridge and can constantly hear the cracking of trees

Snow must be damper heavier there to do that, little wind won`t help.

Hi guys, been a long time! we have had a lot of snow here, still going now but significantly lighter and the snow is thawing, I can see it dropping off the bushes and some areas on paths etc are turning quite slushy. Seen the first couple of cars brave our road, not that I plan to at the moment as routes in and out of Stratford aren't great I hear. Not looking promising for a snow day for my teens tomorrow so they are not happy!

NIce to see you back.....

In 3years its the first time we have been successful.

Has just started up here again after a period of light snowfall and the temp is now down to 0.1C

Plenty of Worcestershire schools already decided to stay closed tomorrow, too:

It all depends on how long ago/many years ago it was since last logged in

Seems to have fizzled out, however the radar shows more coming from the West.

Temp zero, DP-1 east mids airport still closed for snow clearance!

To summarize today, happy with what i have got and definitely grateful for it, was outside in it for around an hour earlier having a nice a walk, probably approaching 3 inches now. Seeing some flakes by the lamp-post tonight would top it off.
