Temps and DPs rising fairly quickly in Solihull area, DP up to -0.1 ant temp of 0.6c.

Gusty ..

I am about 5 miles further north than you and I was recording increasing temps, but they are now falling again here,

Remember that the greater the risk ,the greater the reward could be.

Have you got any wind there yet?

MIA

PS Now the snow is heavier I can 'work' without my lamppost!!

Hi MIA,

I live in Wythall, so I’m a few miles from the Monkspath weather station those readings come from. DP and Temp are lower here, so not too worried especially as those further south/sw are reporting snow still.

Just keeping an eye on things!

Thanks Gusty..

I am between Robin Hood Golf Course and the centre of Solihull with a bit of height.

It is still below freezing here as I have just checked under my car port and the snow flakes are settling and not melting on the car..

Also I have just see drifting on the road starting to happen in a gust of wind!

 Really getting going here now.

MIA

To be fair, it is snowing a lot more than the radar would suggest, and sticking well as everything is so cold. Air temp of -0.2 and dew point at -3.7. Both falling.

Sounds like I’m about 3 miles west of you! Think we’ve had about 5cms here so far so building up nicely.

Also of note. I am the red dot. NMM depth chart is pretty much bang on for 7am (between 2 to 5cm).

JDQGzQO.png

Which means 10 to 20cm is looking very likely by close of play :D Not even too far from the 20 to 30cm zone :D
