Struggling to stick here- might be too far south after all

I shouldn't think so it's sticking fine here. Sure that's not gritted roads ? 80 ASL.

Ppn is bang on track maybe a touch North and faster moving but other than that the Met nailed it's track, good for all the Midlands. Happy Snow day guys.

Gritters out in force on Wolverhampton Road but they can't keep up with the Snow that is lashing Down here also very windy so Blizzards out there.

Is there an area of higher DPs/temperatures up the seven estuary, as it has been showing rain around that area for a while now, nothings changing where the snow is falling though so that's good news for now :)

I knew this was going to be a let down for this area and so far it is bone dry with a dampness to the air (despite temps being -2).

Enjoy down south.

Right I took a piccie outside my front door at 4am......Its taken me a bl00dy hour to work out how to reduce the file size to put it on here :wallbash: So I hope it works!! This one was taken at 4am, so an hour after it started snowing here. So from zero to this in an hour

I take this comment back as it looks like that area is turning more and more to very heavy snow now.

According to the met office the northern Midlands is still looking at 5-10cm widely with up to 20cm in parts. I am feeling a little more hopeful now and have my fingers crossed.

Seems temperatures and dew points are starting to rise again.  Down boy down! :diablo:

Don't worry dude anything falling North of Bristol and all the way to the east say Oxford will be snow. Well throughout the day then light snow through the early hours.

About an inch of snow here in Witney. Must be knife edge stuff anywhere south of oxford!

Diddly squat in Stoke. Radar suggests a dusting at most. Pathetic.

We do really badly from these frontal systems from the south.
