If that 'stuff' is going south, the emergency severe weather warnings(red) would have already been issued for London.

On that basis it clearly is coming to us!.

MIA

Also just noticed my temp has dropped from 0.9C (where it has been all evening) to  -0.8C now,in just half an hour..

Update -0.9C now,  with a dew point of -4.1C. So looking much better.

Think I might.

With any luck, you won't be able to go anywhere come 11am :D

That's actually the 12z (bottom right of pic), Sometimes weatheronline bugs out a bit and makes you think you're looking at the latest.

To be fair I have been moaning. but the low looks pretty high up on the radar. Decided not to be unhappy about what I get in my area and be happy that this is just the start of winter. So just seeing snow is a bonus on previous years.

Enjoy the ride everyone its only december.

Might get some yet 1cm is better than nothing.

Any snow that falls tomorow

An improvement for southern counties.

Here's the current picture ATM. Conditions looking more favourable, most places hovering around 0c

I am not certain about these 'accum' snowfall charts shown above.

They talk about a possibility of 40millimeters, -  just 4 cms!!!

Is this correct or does it represent the rainfall equivalent. Anyone know?

I was told 1mm = 1cm of snow might be wrong though

1 inch liquid water = 10 inches snow for warm storms

1 inch liquid water = 20 inches snow for cold storms

or

25 mm = 25 cm for warm storms

25 mm = 50 cm for cold storms
