Stopped now and the skies are clearing :nonono:. Left a thin covering for now though. I'll have to hope for more later or much of this will disappear quickly in any Sun.

Hopefully that blob of snow should reach me - think we’re on the same trajectory..... ?

Fizz.. It has now reached here, but is fizzling  out.

Instantly covered with the temp at 0.2C and the dew Point at -1.9C.

The slight eastern movement has done the trick.

Anything we get now and possibly tomorrow though is hopefully a bonus for the real fun and games on Sunday. Here's hoping for enough at some point soon for the possibility of one of these :snowman-emoji:.

Nice snow pics. :)

I suspected some in Shropshire has seen some impressive depths there’s been a conveyor belt of quite heavy snow showers all day, and still ongoing for at least a good number of hours yet.

Yeah, just as it arrived, so did my Chinese, so bl**dy missed my lamppost watching moment.

Sunday had better not go South - or North - or I will not be a happy bunny.

Rain/Snowfall EURO4 Su 10.12.2017 12 GMT

Have a look at this absolute beauty from EURO4

See that little circular gap in the bottom of the snow area?

Yes, that’s me.... ?

Just driven down to Birmingham Airport to pick up a friend and lots of heavy snow falling long the A38 between Barton under Needwood and Birmingham during my journey.

Sunday still looks interesting for my location.

your not that much further south. Although for myself and you a touch south of around 30-40miles would be ideal.

Yes - was in response to posts on the EURO model.

ECM has some big depths across the Midlands associated with Mondays low

Snow flurry again, good covering now, looks better tomorrow am, for members in the east, as winds turn NW, then tomorrow PM is more for Stockport

Looks like a birmingham.north event for sunday so.once again my area (coventry) missing out again great ?

Lol you are well within the amber warning area, relax :) The Met has much better short-term models than what is available for the public.

My brother in Telford has just measured 7.5 inches on his lawn and its still coming down, Telford does seem very much the place to be no doubt aided by its modest altitude of 150 meters.

Nothing here and nothing on Sunday expected either, oh well better than a Bartlett I suppose.

17cm of level snow. That's more than Dec 2010 or Dec 1995 managed. It's certainly the most round here since Feb 1991, possibly 1987.

4 years without any significant snow ends like this.!

Excellent end to the drought.
