is there a chance the south downs could get a covering of snow?

somewhere like devils dyke, it's 217 meters ASL

Or ditchling beacon at 248 meters ASL

I grew up on Boxhill in the 80's - can you see why I might be slightly snow obsessed??!! Lol! In the smatterings we've had in the last few years, Boxhill is where we head!!!x

Mum use to take us up every time is snowed and we could get there, always felt ten times deeper up there than down the bottom. Leith hill is a little more tricky because all the roads are single track and it's a bit of a trek on foot from the nearest main road.

For fun, the UKV 15z snow accumulations from 06:00 to 12:00 tomorrow, 18z should be with us in half an hour or so...

Box hill I will potentially going to tomorrow with my lot IF it snows... :)

 

EDIT leith hill is nearly 1000ft  above sea level.. BLIMEY I didn't know that On top of the tower it must be (964ft to be precise)
