Can we focus on tonight and not Sunday, quite a lot of showers around maybe some could give our region a Dusting?

Why? Some of us have been monitoring the situation for Sunday more than we have for tonight/tomorrow event

But to answer your question, if your lucky then yes, but apart from radar watching and window observing I'm not sure what we can say about it now.

Please, if we are to miss out on a fantastic snowfall opportunity this weekend, please don't add further insult to injury with COLD RAIN. That is the pits....

It’s just the Cheshire gap streamer setting up. If we’re very very lucky it “could” get as far as London.

True, although the latest warnings shows that they're still struggling with it with less than 72 hours to go.

The uncertainty almost certainly arises from the fact that Mogreps is not producing a conclusive path.

Asis usual in these situations the issue of a warning has ramifications for civil contingency planning such as ensuring that gritters are on standby etc

If they don't issue a warning for an area then no gritters are on standby..... Etc so it is less about uncertainty but possibly more about caution especially as warning talks about communities being cut off

Well after yesterday's 12z ECM put us down for a major snow event Monday, the 6z ECM just run does the same!

Plus even puts us in the game on Sunday...

Right game on now IF this lot manages to keep any kind of intensity, I have been slowly watching the showers come further and further south Milton Keynes is now the most southerly point one of these showers has come. AND if conditions stay favorable which they kinda do..

Bbc is now saying snow showers on tuesday night but not a sausage Sunday or Monday.

EC has shifted significant snowfall S & E to include much of East Anglia. Snow line roughly north of M25.

Monday looks very interesting indeed ECM is being consistent here with a snow event for our SE corner with a fair dollop of snow. I not want to get greedy, but it’s possible my location may join in the action on Sunday & Monday that would end the snow drought in spectacular fashion. :shok:
