Proper flakes now starting to fall and even off the dusting so it's not as patchy.. may go for a walk whilst it's snowing and make the most of the snow because it'll be years before the next opportunity in Hunstanton!

Good to hear you've got some snow :good: Just hammering it down with rain here!

Yh worrying that the Southern Part has turned back to rain already - lets see where the Pivot Point is, guessing Herts is JACKPOT Zone!

At least it was nice to see what will hopefully be the first of many days of lying snow this winter however brief it was.

Suspect we are now getting southerly feed down here, hence back to rain

Interestingly the BBC weather has rain forecast here until 1 pm then has heavy snow. Of course these shouldn't be taken literally and its all down to now casting. Iv'e already seen more than i expected, and i dont think ive ever seen snow settle so quickly after so much rain.

Here in Tunbridge Wells, even at my elevation, it has been rain throughout. It just goes to show how marginal  these types of event are!

Good luck to everyone else.

Still coming down at a fair rate! Love how plants take on a completely different form when snow covered. Magical!

I think I can upgrade the snow here to moderate with decent sized flakes now. A centimetre or two on the ground now.

I am happy for everyone who has woken up to the best snow event since 2013 and to think we haven't even reached Christmas yet.
