Canvey island - last few mins rain is def turning more wintry wind has really picked up. My boys school not opening till 10am which is 10 miles away so I'm watching and waiting.

For what it’s worth the MO have upgraded me to heavy snow from 11 onwards (presumably falling not settling).

Driving rain here with just a wet flake or two of sleet, very windy indeed and about 3.5*C. Can't imagine much worse weather tbh. YUCK!
