just gotta wait for the milder air to pass after later morning it should drop back again providing there is still something to fall from the sky

Thanks Surrey, hopefully we'll get lucky.

Canvey Island - we live right by sea wall, nice big flakes the last hour and half after rain but not settling.

Yep sadly back to sleet in Greenwich too

I should have gone and stayed with my parents last night in Essex where it is still snow and a decent covering

I’ve still got snow! No change at all for once I might be on the right side of things roads going white. :shok:

Typical just going sleety!

Half a mile NE of Danbury it's like Narnia!

Another promising snow event that turns out to be a damp squib!

We always seem to be too far north, too far south or too close to the coast.

The band is so close to the south of my location.......says it all really.

Just want some snow for myself and my little boy to enjoy.

So some of us might be looking at a rain / snow / rain / snow event.

Yep back to mostly snow again here now, I think the Thames must be acting as the cut off point - looks as though the pivot is now in full force judging by the radar too so hopefully we are all good from here on in

Heavy snow in South Oxfordshire. 5cm settled and more to come. The cat is refusing to go out and is growling at the snow :)

Really chucking it down in Chingford, massive flakes and settling fast.

Be interested to know if those further out in Essex and east Herts under the green on the radar are getting rain/sleet or snow?

I'm under the green and we are getting heavy snow, have been for over 1hr. At 6am though it was lashing with rain and the ground was soaked!

The sky/cloud has just gone from grey to that lovely teasing yellowy hue which we all know forbodes a great snowfall. I know I'm fantasising, but heck, I've seen frozen precipitation falling both this month and last.. can't complain!
