Fairly heavy snow here at the moment, no sign of rain.

Radar parameters must be slightly off then because has St Albans on the boarders of rain/sleet....good to here ?

Stayed at my mates at Ampthill, Bedfordshire last night.

Just looking outside, decent covering and coming down fairly well.

I’d say 1cm

love to see pictures of that report of thick snow in North London. Hmmmm @Daniel*

Definitely a wintry mix here of rain and sleet, wonder if any of us will get lucky oh and yes, snow can settle on wet ground, that's a myth that it can't

Morning Surrey - certainly is a myth - I’ve seen it turn very suddenly when it’s been raining all day and it left traffic chaos here in Reigate a few years ago...

just rain here at the moment...

It's had us as under sleet all morning so far but it's been just snow and it's heavier now.

Definitely a bit sleet here reigate is south of me, can here the icy bits hitting the window sounds like hail lol, anyway even if I see falling snow with non settling ill be happy, one thing is for sure with freezing temps tonight it's going to be like an ice rink out there later

Yep a few very wet flakes mixed in here now... Interesting times it's turning quicker than I expected, I wasn't eden expecting to see sleet when I woke up, not much wind here at the moment so I guess evaporative cooling can take place

Yup same here - temp now gone from 2 to 1c and yup more wintry .
fingers crossed

Just over an inch in North Bucks.  The sleetyness has gone now, just steady moderately heavy snow.

The precip type is off it’s based on data not in real-time so I suspect that’s why, as far south as north London.

Here’s hoping! We are meant to be test driving a car in Epsom at 2 this afternoon - if it’s snow by then and with the added elevation, it could be interesting...

Wet on the ground....but starting to turn here in Greenwich with plenty of flakes mixed in with the rain. and that's at pretty much sea level

You’re nearby likewise just a little up the river should definitely turn between 0700-0800.

Snowing heavily and settling in High Wycombe despite the radar saying rain - and I'm in a valley...

Good luck everyone!
