Heaviest snowflakes I’ve ever seen at Hitchin-must be 5/6cm across some of them! Might be wrong about snow not hanging around! What a bonus Christmas pressie!

Snowing reasonably heavily in Reigate, very windy and settling in cars and grass but not roads. Temp is currently 1.1c

very overcast here, getting darker by the minute, probably just rain

Ditch the snow shovels and get the sand bags ready if the GFS 00z is to be belived, although I have little faith in any model atm how its chopping and changing so much

Indeed @Surrey looks positively horrendous in the South, lets hope it doesnt verify as currently modelled. Maybe time to build that Ark! ?

Snowing here , really big flakes for about 20 mins settled on cars and roofs , South Downs are white .Lovely little surprise ?
