Wet snow here in Brackley south Northamptonshire.  Not settling very windy

I gather the snow line is moving south east then a little earlier than expected? Won’t be long until more of our more western lot start reporting snow. :)

Yes, 40mph gusts calm here for now some drifting snow possible.

It is definitely beginning to pivot down on our region, it won't be long now, but will the temps be too high and how quickly will it move through?

The BBC seem to think it will linger in the East, but the low seems to be moving through more rapidly than forecast.

Same here, can't keep my eyes open. Hopefully we will wake to a winter wonderland and good luck to those who are staying up to watch things unfold!

According to radar should be sleet here . Now settling on cars. I think folks further south and east will see a quick transition.  According to radar still rain 15 miles south in North Oxfordshire

Rain quickly turned to snow here in Ampthill Bedfordshire at sisters place.

Suprised it’s sticking to cars like it hasn’t even been raining.

You are under some ppn ahead of the main band which is being undercut with cold air as we speak, hopefully should be snow, cold air is as far west as Ascot ish

The change is underway as main band elongates and tracks east/southeast...

The colder-sector is set to move across embedded in the front...

So expect snow falling within the hour...

Also of note there is still some decent vigor in the system...(ppn)

Some parts could do reasonably well in accumulate.....

Just started here North Surrey, flakes! Very slow moving also the band so expect some nice totals if it does settle
