Just been for a drive up to the North Downs and this was the scene at Biggin Hill Airport about half hour ago. Main road through the town was getting a bit slippery as snow was setting, wheels spun a bit when pulled away at lights on slope.IMG_20171211_104630605_HDR.thumb.jpg.2cf5c737b3b2a905df2834dea4f47990.jpg

Back down at South Norwood, some bursts of wet snow, but can't see any settling down here today

Most unexpected.

A few flakes now beginning to fall with the rain... it seems to be shifting towards snow slowly now.

Hello Keefo

Our Manager has to get back to Heathfield from Tunbridge Wells on the bus.  She doesn't finish till 1.45 this afternoon.  Should she be making a move now.  Would be grateful if you could let me know.  Many thanks.

At work in Covent Garden, central London and it’s raining but the wife says it’s snowing back home in Chingford

heavy snow in Hastings, big flakes and lots of coverage. Roads aren't the best, particularly side rides. Had to send my two workers home as they have to get out to Battle.

After a few hours or rain/sleet, snow has started to fall in Central London. :D:cold:

About 20 mins ago, traffic was moving fine in High St. As she travels by bus, might be wise to get 251 rather than 252 as quicker journey and avoids Rotherfield and its lanes. Might be wise to make a move now as radar looks like snow for a while yet

The warm sector seems to be moving out now, ppn turning more wintry, but the ground is completely sodden, so I doubt there will be any settling in central London. Looking great for all those in the Home Counties though!

(Edit: definitely sleeting here now)

forgot to add: 4 years ago I spent £3000 on a snow blower as I've got a long hilly driveway and was fed up with having to use shovels. Low and behold the first meaningful snow we have in 4 years and it's the wrong bloody snow.......too wet to use the machine :(
