Higher ground looks best tomorrow. Even Aperge, Arome, Hirlam, Euro4 etc.. not convinced on the snow potential

Any chance of that going further south? :D

We want it more north or Northern France & the English Channel takes the bulk of the precip.

Ah good it can stay there, but we need to get a bit colder from somewhere.

Storm Ana will draw up milder air on its southern and eastern flank, so all depends on the positioning and how far north it tracks. The further north it goes the less likely areas like Kent will see sleet/snow.

Frustrating!! Thanks for the explanation! So it's currently sitting too far north?

So will lying snow affect tomorrows temperatures enough for snow in Essex?

Those precip charts are 3am to 9am and show today’s fizzling band slipping south, nothing to do with the low over France I’m afraid.

His saying should know by tomorrow. But isn't it meant to be through tomorrow that those that got rain today would get lucky and also be in the game for some snow on the south east coast. Many of us have been really lucky including myself.  That have had plenty of snow. So I'm hoping the next feature goes to those that didn't get any.

So storm Anna is further north? A shift of 50-60 miles further east and the London area would be at a standstill on Monday morning!

Its not cold enough for us.

Did you get Snow today?

Sevenoaks a bit hit and miss a covering on the top of the downs, although driving towards Maidstone down the M20 a few hours ago there is an area of quite a decent covering of about an couple of inches (max), where it has remained snow all day??

Incorrect. Follow the 3hr precip charts. Todays area fizzles out as the low over France moves Northwards.

Due to arrive tomorrow morning.

I don’t think temperatures and DP’s will be low enough below Home Counties.

Temperatures in a slack northerly based wind are definitely lower than forecast for southern counties 24hours ago. Seems like a few showers heading along these areas will be snow if they maintain some sort of intensity. Sadly they are dying out though

I like your style! What's the best set up for Kent to be in with any chance of the action tomorrow?

Storm positioning etc?
