They may have been for actual precip but they haven’t for the type of precip !!!

GFS has had a mare for this. All the models struggled but the GFS did the most.

So is that it then for NW London or more on the way

Until tomorrow that's it for any measurable snow.

Snow seems to have stopped here in City of London. Not sure about at home in Southend, Essex though. Met Office forecasting more snow for both areas today, especially Southend.....do we think they’re right?

I work along the seafront. Not much but puddles and rain back at home just by the hospital it's been snowing heavily with some decent accumulations.

Really what about all that to the west and north

It's slowly fizzling out over the next few hours. You'll still get snow but not enough for any meaningful accumulations.

Chesham, when I left, made Narnia look warm and dry. Bermondsey/Borough border slightly less snowy more akin to slush puppies being dropped from a great height! I think I will be happy, after the last 3 or 4 winters, if I don’t get much more snow the rest of this one. I hope everyone who didn’t get much/any snow today gets shed loads through the rest of this winter ❄️⛄️❄️⛄️❄️⛄️❄️⛄️

It's nonsense! No way that's going to happen. For most of today the best Monday forecast has been for a light flurry of sleet and even that's pushing it.

ETA and it's downgraded again ?

Aww Murr Jnr deserves to see the very stuff his Daddy works so hard to inform us all about every winter!!! I have a 3yr old too and he's seen it twice but both times meant a drive to Boxhill! He got excited to see it today but didn't settle, fingers crossed for next time!x

Word to the wise folks, don't take the BBC/Met Office/Any other app's hourly forecast too literally. It's a one way ticket to a heart condition otherwise!
