Nah it wasnt rain, just a period of v light snow.

Went out in it with the kids and the snow had thawed, unless that was to do with temps rising?
Most of the snow from this morning has now turned into a 'slush'...

Raining here now which is a shame as the snow is melting quite quickly.

Snow stopped here, although perhaps more later. We have around 4 inches which I'm bery happy with considering the forcast was for mainly rain!

No wind here at all though, there hasn't been all day, it's very still out there.

@Nick L any thoughts on tomorrow?

Current thinking 2-5cm from E Berkshire, up through to S Suffolk including N/W London. Very volatile situation though.

Nothing but rain here as expected. With a southwesterly gale. Not expecting transition anytime soon.

Remember people follow the drop in dewpoints on meteociel they will tell you nearly all the story of when the cold is and when its coming south

the centre point of the low is exiting east london now - seen below ( the circular clearence )

areas west of this will see the dewpoint drop & cold air move south- ( hence snow in woking )

the 0c line is currently in london if you ran the M4 all the way through-

Well, so far today, the Triangle of Doom has certainly lived up to its reputation: hours of nasty, cold grot...Lovely!:cray:

Still heavy snow falling and not a breath of wind. It is a truly winter wonderland out there. Going over to Belfairs Woods to get some pics in a bit
