Fabulous event here, about 3-4 inches in total although slowly thawing now.  Best snowfall for 7 years here.

Had a brief Period of a few minutes when it looked like snow was making a comeback but it’s back to rain now .

Same here. I made a point of showing it to my snow-mad son while it came down for a few moments, to enjoy the now rather novel experience of watching flakes falling.

Looking at latest radar overheads..

A pep in precip looking 'highly' likely in-and around the region this afternoon.

Even the current feature not done with us yet!..

And yep' the biscay northern tracking lp...

Certainly of note through early hours into tomorrow!!!

Snow on its way out now but great event here especially for where we are in relation to the marginality.

5-7am Heavy Rain

7-9am Heavy Snow

Then a 10 minute period of rain and been all snow ever since.

Lets see what tonight and tomorrow brings

Snowing properly again here now - not really laying on paved surfaces, but the grass is more white than green.

So managed a proper snowball fight this morning as the snownwas coming down. My estimate is 2 cm here which far out weighed what i expected. Daughter loved it just hoping for more. Its proper winter now

Started as heavy rain early in Chingford this morning then turned to snow about 7.30am and has been snowing non stop ever since. A good few inches out there now. Still snowing.

I am not surprised, I got stuck on one once when it was a clear day just after I passed my test, it was a nightmare.

Well not to sure about the interact-via current and incoming features!..

As the current is of to the low countrys, allowing for open flow-as the current bisacy, feature heads for the southern flanks of england....

Modeled below 6z-gfs.

Its no kent clipper either!...

Making track-and placement @wide area south-south east. .

And again needs a firm eye..could be some more notable deposits!?

12z ec/gfs will offer finer scope.

After a brief flirtation with wet, sleety snow, we are now back to the bog-standard sleety rain...What an 'orrible day!:D
