Fingers crossed for another dumping of snow later today or tomorrow ?

Is this due to actual possibility or just wishful thinking?

Just hanging on to the snow it seems. Most snow here since Jan 2013 or maybe even Feb 2012

Any update on roads near Cambridge? I am now leaving Great Yarmouth to visit my dad in Addenbrookes Hospital.

Just rain here near Gt Yarmouth, but I imagine I will drive through some snow on the way as I head south and west.

Thick snow but roads will be ok especially near hospital

We have lost a lot of trees in my area because the snow is so wet. Crazy.

Mostly the latter. A few cm or so possible for NW London, Bucks/Beds/Herts tomorrow morning but that's about it. And even that is very uncertain.

Was thinking I couldn’t see much on the cards. Shame for those so close but great for those that got hit. It’s early days...looking forward to seeing what winter brings

Not the best quality pics, but that's the most snow I've seen in Romford for at least 6 years. Nice to see :)

And the bathroom window was my bleary eyed first clue that something had happened this morning :D

Yeah exactly. This is already more than the last 3 winter combined by many times, and we're only in week two!

Snow sliding off cars in Bedfordshire and water dripping from them. Goes to show how marginal it is, even up here.

I suspect that's down to Mr. Blob on the radar heading in from the West - just waiting patiently for that to get across to here too.

Surprised at reports of rain / slush so close to me.  Nothing but snow in Rayleigh.  The 'hill' into Rayleigh from Hockley is catching lots of cars out.

No idea of the A11, but the snow line started at swaffham on the A47. Felt rather sorry for many eastern norfolkers this morning. Not a single flake of snow in Norwich!

Still snowing moderately in Chingford, but the rain/snow line is closing in!

Nothing much as yet to trouble you south of Norwich, if you're using the Southern Bypass.
