How depressing :(

I live not far off 600ft and not a single snow flake, yet north kent ON THE BLOODY COAST and it was snowing heavy :(

My mate text this morning in herne bay and had a nice covering. Prob gone now with the rain but crazy how elevation has not played a part in this one

Looking at the radar half of London has rain half has snow

We have ended up just on the wrong side of all of that here in SW London, with a bit of slush on the lawn and light rain coming down now. My sister in Reading has sent lovely snowy pictures from her garden.

7 hours of mod to heavy snow has now turned to Light snow in Ampthill Beds now.

What a morning - 5 to 6 inches of snow!

Best since 2013 and it’s before Christmas.

Although it’s been a 1cm slushfest in Southend, that’s the first pre-xmas fall of snow in this area since 2010 I think, unless someone can remind me otherwise. So disappointing but not!

Just started turning from rain to snow here in north Kent. Very fine though. This is such a knife edge

Meto site said turning to snow again from 1pm on/off until 10pm but now the site has crashed so I don't know the latest on that?! Anyone else have an idea of chances?x

I think it’s more disappointing/frustrating as we were so close to the good stuff

There are a lot of grumbling midlanders complaining on their thread haha! Looks they didn’t do anywhere near as well as hoped.  Looks like the focus for heavy snow transferred further east than expected ?

Any update on roads near Cambridge? I am now leaving Great Yarmouth to visit my dad in Addenbrookes Hospital.

Just rain here near Gt Yarmouth, but I imagine I will drive through some snow on the way as I head south and west.
