Yep sadly back to sleet in Greenwich too

I should have gone and stayed with my parents last night in Essex where it is still snow and a decent covering

Was rainy about an hour ago, now steady snow and everything turning white. Not sure of the temp as my weather station stopped responding at 645 when the temp was 1.9 up from a low of -4

Still very heavy snow here, probably 2cm now.  Best snow event since 2012 and totally unexpected

Really chucking it down in Chingford, massive flakes and settling fast.

Be interested to know if those further out in Essex and east Herts under the green on the radar are getting rain/sleet or snow?

Just woke with the kids screaming it's snowing hard what a lovely surprise didn't expect it as here we couldn't be any closer to the sea in sheerness Kent even if it doesn't last long it's nice to see.

We have been under the green here for at least an hour, probably more. (Been up too many hours already), and it's definitely has been and still is snow all the way.. heavy snow at times too. Hasn't let up.

It's strange that the SW quadrant of London is sleet / rain and snow for the rest of London. Can't complain, we were in the sweet spot in 2010!

We're in the green area but it's proper snow and starting to settle.

Interesting. I'm in the green area and it's all rain. But if the snow line has reached NE Essex then maybe it'll make it here later.....I can hope!

Looking at the radar I could get a lot. Coming down thick.

Sleeting here now, nice while it lasted! Maybe will turn back to snow. A good 1-2cm settled. Safe to say, my drive to Banbury ain't happening today.

Its been heavy rain here in Ashford for hours and its windy. I'm not expecting to see anything wintery due to being too far south and not much elevation. My brother just phoned from the outskirts of Maidstone and said its snowing there.
