Moderate steady snow here now - starting to settle on the grass but the pavements/roads is still soooooo saturated that cannot see it settling there.....

2 mins later and the cars are getting very covered and roofs too - hints the garden path may be about to change colour soon tooooo

Bigger and bigger flakes, starting to turn white outside

Need to learn to touch-type, its difficult to look out the window and type at the same time...

Still a sleety mix here, but more flakes in the fall than at 5:30. Transitional? Hope yet? Washout? Loving these pictures though. Could be a wintry couple of days. Impressive gusts here too, which I'm sure will give blizzard conditions wherever more formed snow is falling.

East Farleigh near Maidstone, Kent. Temp dropped by 1c to 1c in the last hour.  Snow starting to settle on grass.  I'm down by the river so surprised to see it.

I've never seen some fine little small flakes of snow before, they're barely visible to the eye yet the ground is white with them..

Very sleety in Leigh On Sea

Just some slushy mess on the grass at the moment, nothing to get excited about, and hopefully can drive further afield today to find some proper sledging snow - Woohoo

Head towards Danbury mate, it's lashing it down here

Let’s put to bed the North of the M4 myth, it’s snowing south of the M4, seems to me the ‘band’ of precipitation decided to head south for Christmas ?

Been snowing for nearly two hours here in Godmanchester Cambs, now it’s throwing it down nicely in a stiff wind. With it being a Sunday couldn’t be a more perfect day!

Can someone under the green patch for sleet over East Anglia on the radar confirm if it's sleet or snow please?

0C here and snowing heavily. My MetO app showing heavy snow until this afternoon then light until 10pm. We shall see but not looking forward to the long drive I have to do later. Got winter tyres (legacy of living in Scotland) but not many others have around here.
