There are heavy wet flakes falling among the rain here in Addlestone. Just had a pic from my mother in Gloucestershire - a nice covering of snow there

Lamppost check revealed a few flakes of snow, in the rain now, here in Lee, London SE12.

Still dry here so if it does arrive as snow i think we have a good shot at a cm or two which i'd be very happy with.. please?

Well that's still quite elevated.  Anyway over the past 30 mins we have gone from heavy rain to sleet to wet snow, next snow dry snow?! Precipitation is not quite as heavy as earlier.  Things are definitely improving.
