Thats a good indication high up is geared more to snow compared to bog standard rain. I expect also heavier PPN will also push down the snow level, so sleety light stuff at this stage isn’t a worry.

Dew points are very low here, so maybe it’ll turn soon

Dew points are all good across our region away from S coast it must be milder air aloft..

Look on the met o forecast as my location in huntingdon has gone from being on amber till 1600. Now it has updated it says snow right through Sunday into Monday. Not sure what is going on.  I'm still in the amber from the warning this morning.

It’s icy here. I’m worried about those higher DPs working up from the South West. That will really ice the cake, and not in a good way. I have friends in the midlands and I dread to see their Facebook updates

It’s very cold out there just went out for 30 seconds dry for now in recent winters it just hasn’t felt cold enough for decent snowfall it does this time.
