I’m driving from here to Heathrow at 6pm tomorrow. Could be interesting!

Could be! Though I'm not convinced our area will see any accumulating snow. Just N of London will have much better chances of that, am not sure my driving to Banbury tomorrow is s good idea?

Those saying "snowing north of the Downs", let's just say the radar is claiming that there's snow in Redhill, but the old and trusty "naked eye" can't make out any precipitation whatsoever right now!

Currently -4.3C here under clear sky but it looks cloudy across to the west.

Driving to Banbury will certainly be a challenge. Stay safe!

Cloudy and 2.6° here. Radar claims sleet right over me but nothing falling ? Don't wanna be a pessimist but I'll be amazed if anything comes of all this where I am.

I'm *just* north of the south downs (Steyning), plain ol' rain at present.

Thanks! Due to be driving up to a village a few miles outside of Banbury around 11am for a Christmas lunch/get together. My main worry is getting stuck there lol as I'm not convinced of any snow threat here near Heathrow. But who knows, your drive could end up a challenge too if this keeps moving S.

I’m picking my parents up at 6pm. If we go into the snow zone, it might be fun lol

Rain here now, Quite a bit colder than I was expecting though, I had thought the temperature would be up around 4 or 5 now the rain has arrived but it's only a fraction above freezing. Out and about a short while ago it was between 0 and -2 even in the rainy bits. Bodes well for tomorrow and those further North I hope.

Just finished a private event in Folkestone and the precipitation coming out of the sky is definitely not just rain.
