Overlap of the high winds and snow for locale in London, could be interesting! Blizzards on the Downs?

If they really think it will over lap may be a higher warning should be given for the area. Blizzrds are not something people should be driving in.

Lol

Hows your luck, no weather down here then nothing to see -

Miss out on the Yellow Wind and Yellow Snow and in the Void!

I guess it depends how heavy it looks on models, heaviest snow probably NW of London over Midlands and east Wales, but for sure, won't be pleasant 50-60mph gusts driving snowfall even it isn't heavy.

-3.8C here in Buntingford, I know temperatures ahead of a front can rise significantly, but I am rather confident of an all-snow event here.

hmm... sense of humour failure aside... just because a warning for a blizzard isn't issued, if there does happen to be a blizzard, then its down to the common sense of the driver...

Some nutcase is setting off fireworks here. I'm assuming it's a fellow Netweather member ?

I'm going to venture up out of Kent early morning to find something wintry. Was thinking about crossing the Thames into Essex... likelihood of snow there?

Tempting to drive down 15 minutes down the road and have a look.

Nice blob of green on the radar just South of me at Hailsham. Sleet, or just rain. So tempting to hop in the car.

Zero, certainly here anyway. Unless you head to northern parts. M25>M11 or M1 best bet

I’m driving back from Cheltenham to Lewisham tomorrow morning so it looks like a fun trip. Can’t decide if I will be snowed in or blown away in the wind. Joking aside I may have to be careful.

Tsk. I'd just like to point out that Tottenham Hotspur hold the record for the highest ever attendance at a Premier League home fixture: 80,827.

Set just a few weeks ago too: https://www.standard.co.uk/sport/football/tottenham-break-manchester-uniteds-premier-league-attendance-record-at-wembley-stadium-a3664826.html

Dropping like a stone, -4.2C here in Buntingford, coldest temperature I have recorded here since earlier last year.

Looks like it's heading my way so might as well just wait up a bit, got a bit of elevation here too which will help.
