What do you expect it’s a partly SE thread?

I know but needs to be split up, area to big at present could have norfolk/susse/cambs as a thread?

would make sense

The WRF NMM take on things... It does seem most models are pretty set on this (until later runs)

Edit: What I would say is that this is the model which ties in with the MET warning more than any.

If there's more support from other folks in East Anglia we can certainly consider it.

36 of the 51 EPS members have a very similar track to the ECMWF det., with the snowline for this region really bordering somewhere around the London area.

About 12 have it even further south, and the remainder take a more northerly track

That seems like fairly good confidence for now, but there might still be some tentative shifts either way

Pretty much clean and green for Norfolk then bar the far west. Oh well, seems like a muddy dog scenario for me then haha

Looks like you may have a snow flurry any minute now looking at the latest radar.

For fun, the UKV 15z snow accumulations from 06:00 to 12:00 tomorrow, 18z should be with us in half an hour or so...

Most of the year it would be dead quiet split, also most East Anglia folk get on well with us Southeasteners.

It makes sense Nick, I`m on the cusp of Cambridgeshire and hardly related to Surrey.

It’s freezing in Milton Keynes but I am sweating on the snow chances. Looks like it’s a close run thing for us.

Well I could say the same for you? It doesn’t bother me one bit. Our regions border one another and we experience similar weather.. perhaps with the snow you may have more in common with the Midlands.

Well temp and dp are not great this end of Essex.

Currently 1.8c and 0.7c on the Dp so if anything falls would expect it as rain currently.

No sign of frost and patchy cloud above.

Yep, up here we definitely don’t need it to head any further south! We need it a touch further north and east.

NW essex looking primed to get 10cm according to ECMWF. Best snowfall opportunity since January 2013 and it's only December!  :yahoo:
