Come on,another southward shift please,only want another 75 mile or so,and i'll be in with a shout,im 70 metres,12 miles inland,please,us south-eastern beauties are snow starved

The actual band has just come into view west of Ireland.

What we have to remember is the low is "supposed" to pivot and go north out of East Anglia. Southern track is great before it does that. I am sleeping with my straws tonight.....

Can someone explain to me how, after a freezing cold night, at 2am tomorrow, at 2c, I get rain and yet on Monday midday, also at 2c it says sleet?!! (As per Meto site) Oh and after 4c all day tomorrow, by 5pm and at 2c I have snow??!! Lol!!xx

Its to do with the column of air from cloud base to the ground & how deep the melt layer is...

Me to I'm rye harbor. Would be nice to see rye covered in snow

-1c at the Weather Underground station on the edge of Epping Forest, at Theydon Bois. Coldest place within the M25 as usual. Colder than many stations 100 miles north of here. Possible snow chances for Epping Forest? Hoping to avoid bloody warm sectors. App says sleet :(
