Yes, I’m keeping a close eye on Monday. We may be in for a few surprises!

I reckon so, maybe a wet slush-fest but maybe something a bit more exciting. If not, hey ho, the sun will be back out on Tuesday and we've just started winter.

Is that so? Overall since yesterday we’ve seen southern extent expand now visible in BBC graphics. Quite a few models offer snow to south of the M4 corridor.

The updated graphics were just shown on the latest BBC forecast.

Even with a southern adjustments I'd be surprised to see us in the firing line.

I’m slightly too Far East and in Cambridgeshire if it’s borderline then it will be rain or sleet at best.

Southern Peak District going to get smashed if it stays as forecast, Buxton at 300m asl could be a foot or more.

This is what it was earlier... what’s going to happen no one really knows for sure.

They are the old graphics that's why they are lacking in detail, the updated ones I posted go in to detail and talk about how the front will push north.

Hopefully Monday will deliver.

That's true, there could still be southerly movements to the snow band. By this time tomorrow, we will have a better idea. But I think we will miss out on snow on Sunday in the London area. N of London, a much better chance.

My eyes are peeled for Monday, looks like a better chance of snow than Sunday IMO.

The Meto extended also doesn't sound as cold/blocked as it said a couple of days ago either?! The one thing that kept me going through this "arctic farce" was thinking we may have further chances down the line but not looking as probable now?!x

I am indeed I’d rather be an optimist than a pessimist it’s very easy to be pessimist I try to base it on ‘evidence’ so not outlandish I’m not just a wacko who wants snow. :spiteful:
