I'll take snow falling out of the sky and not settling over rain..

No snow for South Ockendon, not enough frost as it was a clear night with 0C temperatures.

:help:Alert, alert...:blink2:I have a report of a snow flake being spotted up the road from me just now, it was seen blowing around in the wind, can't say that I saw it myself, it way have been a big speck of dust, but from the radar it seems that a small clump of PPN is heading towards, mmm, ahhh yes, its heading directly towards Mr Steve Murr's new blue ridged mountains of Kent resort address!:shok:

Based on the latest run, there is no chance of snow for southern England in the next few days. It does seem that the GFS 6Z run is quite a warm one.

eh? have you got a time machine? its only just coming out now.

Think you’ll find it’s corrected a bit further south

South but warm, see your second pick. Shows a huge warm sector.

NovemberDecember 2010 stands out the best in recent memory, we had just under 1 foot here thanks to a Thames Streamer!

Going back further the 2nd best in my life time was February 1990 or 1991, can't quite remember the exact date i was only 7. I Remember being in the back of our car driving to Luton airport down the A12 with just a tractor in front of us clearing a path. And the terminal building had the biggest icicles I've ever seen, getting on for 2ft easy! We never seem to get Icicles anymore, I remember houses were covered in them and i used to lean from my bedroom window, snap them off and bring them inside

no idea why this is being quoted so just posting to get rid of it

Doesn’t appear firmly a northern event to me, more a middle England event snowfall isn’t far off from London area 50-100 mile shift S and most of us are in it. I’m discounting GFS track instead backing fax charts.

Juding by the latest GFS we could be in the firing line but we would need a 50 mile correction south again.

Still don't think we'll see snow here. Maybe somewhere like St Albans been the wintry line.

Interesting that. The charts on the Met Office site were in fact showing snow in north London and sleet in south London for Sunday morning, then heavy snow in north London and heavy rain in South London for the afternoon.:shok:

Arghhhahqbdbahdbsgrbasbsbsh!!!!!

Leeds is too for North, London too far south.

The models are correcting the slider southwards, we need a 50 mile shift south.

Even then we need the heaviest precipitation to get lying snow in central.

*cries*
