I do not know if the BBC snow maps cover Thurrock in SW Essex  The dew point is getting lower and it is now at -2.6 °C  and the apparent temperature is -2.1 °C .

Here come the showers.. Ahead of time get the cold in first worry about the PPN later

Yes they seem to be further inland too than on the charts  , hopefully they can keep there intensity .

You can see what will happen a mile off.....Any showers will die a slow death over Beds/Herts/N.Essex.

Would be nice to see a dusting today, but not looking promising to me.

Still, this is the most wintry November day since about 2010, so no complaints.

I've had a few pink blobs pass over me during dinner and they have changed the street lights so can't tell if it's doing anything or not.

Nothing more than a damp squib here 15 miles inland from the North Sea. Temp 1.8c with dewpoint -0.3c

Flurries keep coming but nothing settling......lame again....

Most of the PPN coming off of the North Sea into East Anglia is showing up on radar as sleet, it's not until it gets far inland that it turns back to snow, hoping the wet bulb temp and dew points can stay cold enough by the time the bands hit us.

I think expectations on intensity and depths for our region are getting a little too high by members.

Appreciate whatever you get/see,  remember its rare this time of year (Autumn) and 2010 was an historic event!

At least a few will make it the bigger the blob the better.

Some light snow has just reached N. London. :)

A good sign for later on precip has maintained their strength well there’s barely any light snow, even expanded a tad upon arrival to London.

Looks like East Anglia is going to cop the best of it tonight! The wind seems to have finally veered NE a tad, so hopefully the SE can get the best of the rest!

Precipitation type seems unavailable on NW radar.:drunk-emoji:

It does that every so often but usually only lasts for one frame, check in 5 minutes
